Dasavatharam to open with a bang!!
Dasavatharam Release Date-to be released on June 13
Dasavatharam, Dr.Kamal Hassan’s Magnum Opus will be released on June 13th this year, with an initial print of 1000 prints in three languages-Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.The promotions for the film are now set to begin in full swing. The producers, it is learned, will be playing out promos for the films during the IPL matches in Chennai. With the coming weeks one can be assured that Chennai and Tamil Nadu will enter into Dasavatharam frenzy.

Update: A new trailer, but a short one at that, is being shown in the official television of Dasavatharam(Kalaignar TV). The new trailer is crisp but definitely adds to the expectations from the movie. The trailer shows more intriguing scenes of Rangaraja Nambi with the Vishnu Idol. One just cant stop wondering what the stroyline of the movie is going to be. Watch out for more updates!!!

Update: Whoa!!! Dasavatharam frenzy is really hotting up. It is learned that the producers of the film are arranging for a special screening of the movie to the President of the United States! Yup you read it right. A special screening(with english subtitles) is being arranged for George Bush and the producers are taking every effort to get the node from Bush himself. It is to be noted that one of the das avatars of Kamal is indeed George Bush. It is to be seen how this effort turns out!!
It seems the reason for the special screening is that Kamal does indeed portray George Bush and also because the movie supposedly deals with nuclear and biological weapons, things that must be high up in the “mind” of Bush
